Thanks to Bethany from Madison County we found a setting that still had 60% pass rate for the ddL civics test. Completions that hadn’t met the 70% cut score were deleted (36 cases). Students haven’t lost any of their progress, just need to get a few more correct or resubmit.

Grades can be a source of frustration for both students and faculty, but there may be a better way. On this 4th anniversary of the OTIS "red wedding" I would like the people involved to know that "the north remembers."

After spending the last six months going to the exercise studio with my wife, I offer the hypothesis that ‘How will I know’ is the GOAT exercise class song.

July 1 will be the rollover date for the ddL to the 2025-2026 academic year. The cut score for the civics test will shift to 70% as required by Kentucky Revised Statute (KRS) 158.141. First time pass rate and avg attempt metrics are in place. Use the ddL. Skip the headache.

OTIS will be there with districts like Fleming who are committed to doing the work of collecting, evaluating and using evidence. A profile of a graduate is empty gesturing without that. A little support would be nice.

If you aren't using the ddL for the civics test, you should. The most efficient tool for meeting the civics test requirement now all the new statistics you will be required to report. Completions for 2024-2025 have been updated and are in the license summary for district admins.
