Joe misses the fact 38 percent of the NCAA Tournament bracket is reserved for mid-majors.
Only 18 percent of top 68 teams at KenPom.com were mid-majors as tournament began.
Only 22 percent of top 68 in WAB.
The idea they're getting an unfair deal is an invention.

@TheHoopHerald He's a 6'3 guard who isn't a great shooter and averaged 0.7 assists for a mediocre at best SEMO team. He'll probably get an opportunity at a higher mid major team but that's about it.

@johnrivers131 I know it’s early reaction right after the game but that was shock of the tournament other than Iowa/Florida to me. I thought Illinois could win, but I didn’t think it would be by being a better version of Houston. Brad beat Kelvin at his fight choice.

Oregon junior Jackson Shelstad is entering the transfer portal, he announced. The 6’1” guard appeared in 12 games this season, averaging 15.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.

Seeing a lot of people hyping up DII transfers and flaunting PPG. There are tons of really valuable players for DI teams in that portal, but PPG should basically not matter at all.
Of the 10 top DII PPG players to transfer to DI:
73 starts in 181 games
7.5 PPG
47.6% TS%

There's been a lot of chatter and I think people need to realize that both:
1. This has been a great tourney, super exciting games
2. The traditional March Madness cinderella run is probably dead
