I will post a video that proves this is wrong factually.
The commentators sit in AC rooms and dont come out to witness the real atmosphere.
It is normal for every crowd to go silent for 5 seconds when a boundary is hit. But to stay silent when Aus were 47/3? When SA were 20/3?

If you have elderly along with you, you request the folks around and they will escort you to the lift.

If you happen to go for a match at Chepauk anytime this season, and are buying any ticket in the upper stands or at KMK terrace, do keep in mind that there are 4 floors of steps and further steep steps in the stands to contend with. A little video of the walk to KMK terrace

Except for a few hospitality tickets, all tickets for Sunday’s NZ vs AFG match in Chennai have been sold out.
For a neutral game, and that too without big teams like AUS or ENG, played at a crazy 11 am start, this is insane.
And some still believe Chepauk will be empty after Dhoni retires from the IPL. Lol.

It is unfortunate that Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru. Stalin has chosen to politicise and create controversy over application of The Metro Policy 2017, which is a procedure designed to ensure that costly infrastructure projects such as Metro Rail Systems, generate maximum benefit for the public. Thiru. Stalin has ignored the magnanimous sanction of the Central Government on 3rd October 2024 to the Chennai Metro Phase-2 project at a cost of Rs 63,246 Cr for a route length of 119 km. This is the biggest ever sanctioned metro project. The Coimbatore & Madurai proposals contain the following discrepancies: 1. For lesser route length in Coimbatore than in Chennai Metro system, a higher traffic projections as compared to Chennai have been given. On the face of it appears erroneous. 2. Projected average trip lengths and speed differentials between road traffic and the metro, do not support the expectation of a modal shift of traffic to a metro system. 3. As per DPR of Coimbatore, there is inadequate right of way at 7 metro station locations 4. The Comprehensive Mobility Plan of Madurai (para 5.2.5), clearly stipulate that with current ridership, BRTS is justifiable. 5. Coimbatore Municipal Population (CMC with 257 sq.km) area has population of 15.85 lakhs (2011) in and Local Planning Area (LPA with 1287 sq.km) has population of 7.7 lakh (2011 census). Ridership projections are made for modal shifts within the Local Planning Area which is five times bigger than the CMC area. This projected shift to metro system needs justification. Further, GoTN has chosen not to use benefit of GoI PM e bus sewa intended to provide 10,000 air conditioned e-buses in different cities. Under this scheme, Central Financial Assistance is given for buses, creation of depot infrastructure and Behind the Meter facilities. Despite repeated persuasion, from GoTN has not participated in this scheme so far.

BCCI are going all out to give marquee games and finals at Ahmedabad.
For a fan, this means the opportunity to buy tickets, which is otherwise not really possible at India's other venues like Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore etc. It also means that fans have to brave Gate 1's chokepoints and get inside at Motera.
Starting with 2 consecutive IPL finals in 2022 and 2023, plus 2025's IPL Final. An Ind-Pak, Aus-Eng game, and now the T20 WC Final.
What are your thoughts on Ahmedabad getting so many games?
