"Both Republicans and Democrats see the economy more favorably when their party controls the White House, but the GOP skew is far more pronounced," per Axios. The Republican partisan bias is two-and-half times larger than it is for Democrats, per Axios.

Years ago, navigating life in Nigeria seemed straightforward: Attend school, get a job, and you were set. The journey was clear, almost predictable. It didn’t matter what grades you earned; just graduate, and a job awaited you. But as time went on, the rules changed dramatically. First, it was about being a brilliant graduate—those coveted first-class or second-class upper degrees became the gold standard. Then came the Master's degree, elevating expectations even further. Soon, certifications from foreign universities were the ticket to success, with Ivy League credentials being the ultimate prize. Then, the world hit a pause button. COVID-19 swept in, bringing a profound reset. Suddenly, all those hard-won qualifications faded into the background. Employers began to ask the real questions: “What skills do you have?” “Can you code?" "Create compelling content?" "Capture breathtaking photographs?" "Sell a product effortlessly?” It was a seismic shift, one that propelled content creators and tech innovators to the forefront, as social media usage skyrocketed. But here’s the crucial takeaway that I want you to absorb: Futurists warn us that in the coming years, your skills may not be enough. What will matter most is your personality—who you are and how you present yourself. In essence, it’s all about your PERSONAL BRAND. Consider Tony O. Elumelu, C.F.R, one of Nigeria’s wealthiest men. Why does he share snippets of his life—his yoga sessions, his travels, his interests? Because he understands a powerful truth about personal branding that many overlook. He knows that your brand is your story, and in today’s world, your story is what connects you to others. Here are some of the things I did to Build a Personal Brand That Delivers Consistent Leads till Date: 1. I Identified My Strengths and Skills: I took the time to figure out what I excel at and how I can use those talents to serve others. 2. I Showed Up: Whether it’s creating content, engaging with others, or attending events, I consistently show up and put myself out there. 3. I Kept My Word: Reliability is crucial. When I say I’m going to do something, I follow through. Consistency builds trust. 4. I Networked Relentlessly: I understood early on that building connections is key. I networked, learned from others, and grew my circle of influence. 5. I Built a Portfolio: I created a portfolio that showcases my work and achievements, offering tangible proof of what I can do. Now, I would love to invite you to dive deeper into this exploration of personal branding in my new book titled: “Building a Powerful Personal Brand”. Discover how to craft your own narrative and make a lasting impact in an ever-evolving landscape. For anyone currently applying for the Chevening Scholarship 🇬🇧, here’s a free manual that Osita shared to help you write some of the essays: docs.google.com/document/d/13_… Additionally, if you need firsthand guidance for your Chevening Scholarship application and a more detailed guide, get Osita’s book on how to apply and write the essays for the Chevening Scholarship here: selar.co/p/62170d?affil…. Did you know that getting a Yes for your CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIP application is not solely based on your Academic Achievements ?. This is because someone who can cheat very well can also graduate with a first-class or a 2:1 degree as well . Trust me, my session with Osita James Uche is not about having a first-class or a 2:1 degree; academic grades alone do not determine real-world intelligence. CHEVENING is not reserved for only top students; various factors play a role in the selection process. Comment “Send me an INVITE” & I will send you a FREE exclusive invite via DM to join me and @ositajamesuche via a private TWITTER SPACE CONVERSATION Tomorrow by 8:00pm (WAT). Here are THREE practical and realistic steps you can follow to access any opportunity you desire—whether it’s within an industry you’re passionate about or from someone you truly admire. Firstly, ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN: Put yourself out there. It’s surprising how much time ultra-successful people are willing to spend supporting others, often asking for nothing in return. However, they have a filtering process, so why should they choose to help you over others who also need their very limited time. Secondly, DEMONSTRATE YOUR OWN VALUE: Personally, I try to lead with an offer—something I can help them with. It doesn’t have to be grand, but it’s remarkable how far a simple gesture can go. People we reach out to for help are often accustomed to giving and not receiving. Offering something in return makes you stand out. You need to show that you have something of value to contribute. Lastly, PLAY THE LONG GAME: Recognize that professional relationships are reciprocal by nature and take time—about a decade—to fully compound. That’s when you start to see real benefits. There’s a natural selection process that filters out those who are in it only for short-term gains. Meanwhile, I will like to take a moment to commend Omoregie Lawrence ( @lawrjr ) for his incredible enthusiasm , courage and energy! 🙌 @lawrjr , let’s make something big happen. I remember you reaching out a few months ago about joining my podcast via LinkedIn . Now’s the time! Drop me a DM, and let’s explore a topic you’re passionate about—something you’re deeply knowledgeable about in the tech industry. This is your chance to share your expertise and insights with our growing audience. I’m genuinely excited to hear what you have to offer and to potentially create something impactful together. I look forward to receiving your message, brother! Let’s make this happen. 💡🎙️ If you're interested in partnering with me and believe our collaboration is a perfect fit, I’m all ears! Feel free to share the details of your proposal with me via my official work email: nathaniel@techclout.africa 📧📧 Let's create something life-changing together! #TheShamelessBusinessMan
