Huh? Starbucks is a retail sugar company. If he is serious, here is what it would mean to be “all in on AI”: A) all drinks made by robots by 2030 (Optimus or Figure) B) deprecating legacy Software Industrial Complex licenses (SBUX is probably paying billions per year in software licenses) C) all corporate software rebuilt using a modern SDLC (corollary to B, rebuild everything to be custom, easy to maintain and migrate) D) add Starlink to every location, give away Wifi, cut prices by 25% and grow E) RIF 50% headcount if A-D don’t work

@getcafex @Jason ok yes, I'm sorry. That was much more harsh than I intended it to be. The point was that there isn't an obvious application of AI in barista work (I used to be one back in the day too). Just because a job might not be mentally, challenging doesn't mean the person is dumb.
