For now, Dictus Desktop is essentially Handy with a Dictus visual identity. But we have a lot of features in the pipeline for the coming weeks and months — shared across iOS, Android, and Desktop. One philosophy: your voice never leaves your device.

Gitgrid: 9 utilisateurs (testeurs), Pinpin 478, Keblo 269, Gribli 225, Woatch 200, Capelo 126, entre 10 et 40 visiteurs par jour sur Screan et Iconlab. Pas simple de rester motivé sans sentir un début de traction. Je suis bien conscient que des app comme Gitgrid sont assez spécifiques, et ne touchent pas grand monde (pour l’instant), bien conscient aussi que la période est à la dispersion avec l’augmentation hyperbolique du nombre de projets, mais ça pique un peu, d’autant que je m’applique ! Et pourtant… pour les xx mois qui viennent, je ne vais faire plus QUE ça. J’ai réorienté ma vie dans ce sens. Et j’aime trop ça pour faire quoi que ce soit d’autre. Le moment est encore plus excitant que les débuts d’internet pour ceux qui aiment construire des choses. Question méthodologie, je sais que je pourrais me focaliser sur une app, la poncer à fond (UI, UX, référencement, marketing). Mais je préfère pour le moment les enchainer sur des courtes durées (entre 1 et 15 jours), sans penser au trafic, (encore moins à la monétisation), et qui sait, avec un peu de bol et beaucoup de travail, je vais bien finir par tomber sur LE projet. « Hacker vaillant, rien d’impossible » 😂

@o_heckendorn @BillyMericano @brivael Après ça marche aussi assez bien avec des modèles moins premium. Le modèle small passe bien sûr un iPhone 13. Je fais tourner aussi le small et parakeet v2 sur un pixel 4 😅

@getdictus @brivael Jolie. J’allais vous tagger. J'ai testé et franchement, c'est un bon début. Parasert est parfois un peu à la ramasse. Mais le potentiel est là si vous avez un gros iPhone.

@o_heckendorn The best option is to use the Whispers models, for which you can block the language, especially the medium Whispers model, which is very good, even if it is a little slower than the parakeet model. We will also try to put the Turbo model for the latest iPhones.

@o_heckendorn Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the ParaKit model is a bit capricious when we mix English and French in the same sentence. And unfortunately, we can't block the language on this model. Later we will try to do a post-processing of the transcription using a local model.
