@getjomo Screen time was reduced by 50% after one week of using Jomo. Incredible ROI! I had to subscribe to support the excellent work you folks are doing.

I highly recommend the @getjomo app to help reduce screen time. Although it’s only been a day since I installed it, I already see great value in using it. It’s also not very pervasive and flexible to address your screen habits. Love well designed products. 👏

@martyamark @getjomo Damn! I was just thinking that I need to change my FOMO into JOMO! The name is perfect! I will check it out. Same- I have tried the native IOS solution. But it does nothing! I guess they WANT you to be addicted to your phone. Thanks for the suggestion Marty! Will try it out

I did the unthinkable Yesterday, I went off the grid No devices for the entire day What did I do instead? > Painted 🎨 > Read 100+ pages of a book > Journaling > Organized my home You know what was the most difficult thing to do? DO NOTHING I scheduled 30 minutes to sit and get bored. I couldn’t. I was ITCHING for my phone WAITING to get distracted I am going to do this every week and hopefully I get better with spending time with my own thoughts

Never been one for app blockers, but @getjomo has worked wonders in limiting mindless scrolling. 2 weeks in, and I've noticed far less late-night scrolling and habitual checking. Love how flexible and varied the screen time rules are––enough to fit anyone's needs without feeling too restrictive. While I enjoy dopamine as much as the next neurospicy, those lost hours only add to my anxiety. Will share more details on how I use it soon.

🌟 New iOS Release 🌟 Jomo is releasing new features alongside the iOS 18 update! 🙂 You can now block apps until you log your mood in the Health app (State of Mind). Great for building the habit of tracking emotions and avoiding certain apps when you're feeling down.

@getjomo this is a pretty serious bug you’d want to fix. Minutes are being treated as seconds 😅

@BenKaluza Thanks for sharing your experience with Jomo! We've been working like crazy for the past two years on it, so when we read feedback like this, it really makes our day. So, once again, thank you 🫶

Recently downloaded @getjomo to block literally all my apps on my phone and laptop between 10pm-11am and 3-5pm. Honestly I'm 4 days in and this is the best thing I've done for a long time. I never would have predicted how much impact not being able to use social media/the internet at certain times would have on my productivity. I give myself 3 options during this time. - Deep/boring work that usually involves writing/planning - Reading a book - Housework It's never been so easy for me to just get on with and do these things simply because I know I can't access anything for short dopamine hits. Highly recommend anyone who reads this to try it.

Tools like @getjomo work really well. The way i use it - Block everything by default. - Start a “pause” in Jomo when you want to use a social Why does this work? - If you do the opposite and block socials to focus, be real, you’ll just never do it - when blocked you have a reality check in this exact moment, “did i open the all to do something specific or out of habit? Or to avoid something else?” - your brain rewires pretty quickly, in a couple days you’ll see yourself open socials when you actually need to do something in it - you’ll eventually start reading more long form content, books etc to satisfy your curiosity

If you struggle with screentime on your phone.. Here's what I have tried and ended up finding success using. I started out with "ScreenZen". This app is great honestly, and I found no need to spend money on it. Set custom delays before being able to open an app, set max opens a day, max screentime a day, and much more. I was however not too happy with the screentime goals. Felt wonky and pretty inaccurate. Heard about @opalapp on Modern Wisdom by @ChrisWillx decided to quickly give it a try. Great for screentime goals, but was missing some features from ScreenZen like the delay on opening apps. Decided to google and found @getjomo in a reddit post about Opal. Gives me all the features I enjoy from ScreenZen along with better screentime goals that I was missing. So far really enjoying the app, but decided to start with a single months subscription.
