@DetroitOnLion For me it’s pure ego now. Brad feels like he has to prove everyone wrong with one of these signings. It’s one thing to bring in oft-injured guys to healthy teams. It’s different when injuries have been a problem 3 years running. Going from dart throws to his MO.

First off, I'm never going to get mad over a signing that I am assuming is essentially just a complete kick of the tires. You have to fill a roster with 90 players. May as well take some chances. That said, the Turner signing almost feels like a trolling at this point.

Anthropic shipped Dispatch yesterday. I tested it for several hours. It's not Cowork on your phone. It's a command center — you send instructions from mobile, Claude orchestrates real work on your desktop. One persistent thread, multiple parallel tasks. The thing worth knowing: the Telephone Game. The Dispatch orchestrator doesn't read your CLAUDE.md. It formulates task prompts on assumptions. Sub-tasks do read it — but by then, the prompt already carries imprecise framing. Fix: mention CLAUDE.md in your Dispatch message. Don't assume it knows your setup. Other gotchas: - Pre-configure connectors on desktop first - "Keep awake" must be on - No file picker on mobile — describe the folder path - Can't attach files yet — email them to yourself Made this guide from my phone. Claude built it on my desktop while I was on the couch.

🚨 Holy shit...A developer on GitHub just built a full development methodology for AI coding agents and it has 40.9K stars on GitHub. It's called Superpowers, and it completely changes how your AI agent writes code. Right now, most people fire up Claude Code or Codex and just… let it go. The agent guesses what you want, writes code before understanding the problem, skips tests, and produces spaghetti you have to babysit. Superpowers fixes all of that. Here's what happens when you install it: → Before writing a single line, the agent stops and brainstorms with you. It asks what you're actually trying to build, refines the spec through questions, and shows it to you in chunks short enough to read. → Once you approve the design, it creates an implementation plan so detailed that "an enthusiastic junior engineer with poor taste and no judgement" could follow it. → Then it launches subagent-driven development. Fresh subagents per task. Two-stage code review after each one (spec compliance, then code quality). The agent can run autonomously for hours without deviating from your plan. → It enforces true test-driven development. Write failing test → watch it fail → write minimal code → watch it pass → commit. It literally deletes code written before tests. → When tasks are done, it verifies everything, presents options (merge, PR, keep, discard), and cleans up. The philosophy is brutal: systematic over ad-hoc. Evidence over claims. Complexity reduction. Verify before declaring success. Works with Claude Code (plugin install), Codex, and OpenCode. This isn't a prompt template. It's an entire operating system for how AI agents should build software. 100% Opensource. MIT License.

On filling the Sonic and Knuckles void, Pacheco said you can call him "Taz." Said he's going to spin, jump, do whatever it takes.

@BrettKollmann I’ve wondered what the market would be if they opted for Kyler and move on from JJ. He’s shown some good stuff but also plenty of bad. It may be a small enough sample that another QB needy team would pay a day 2 or early day 3 pick to kick the tires prior to next years draft.

@boonersports They saw his Raiders tattoo and presented an option for covering it with a Raven and when he balked they pulled the deal. Ink loyalty is king in this biz.

@DetroitOnLion Biggest surprise (letdown) to me was Lopez. He played well last year, isn’t too old, and would have been an affordable contract. DT talent is limited in this FA and Draft class. Thought it would make sense to keep him. I understand most of the others.

None of the Lions' departures are particularly surprising (except maybe Kyle Allen), but that doesn't make it suck any less.
