The price for Juan Soto will obviously be crazy. But a 23-year-old with already-realized superstar talent is worth just about any prospects you have. It would be virtually impossible for a prospect (say, Jordan Walker) to equal or exceed Soto. So I say, make the deal. #STLCards

This was a good, low-risk move by the Cards, and what irks me is that I think there have been numerous other opportunities like this available out there that management didn’t seize upon. I still think this season was salvageable through low-cost acquisitions. #STLFly
