Cuando se les dice que hay sanciones contra Venezuela y salen un poco de IMBÉCILES a decirte "aaaaay pero en Las Mercedes hay un montón de Ferraris", uno se refiere a esto: las turbinas y equipos de muchas de las plantas hidroeléctricas del país son de marca Siemens (alemana) y GE (estadounidense), y el Estado venezolano no puede comprarles repuestos, equipos o contratar mantenimiento.

Márquez explicó que casi todas las turbinas en las centrales hidroeléctricas de Guayana son de la marca General Electric o Siemens. “Desde hace mucho tiempo no se le había hecho mantenimiento y algunas no están operando. Creo que por ahí se parte, por un tema de mayor generación de servicio eléctrico”, dijo.
