Got my Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Wendy’s and ate it in the drive-thru again. This was a really good sandwich overall and the new bun is excellent, as is the chicken filet. It has a nice kick to it and I’m a big fan of lettuce, tomato and mayo on my chicken sandwiches. But … this one was missing the pickles. I did not necessarily need them, but I also didn’t get one of the upgrades. The location was clearly understaffed at lunchtime given how long it took for the one DT worker to take my order. (It wasn’t that busy.) That’s unfortunate because it really is a good sandwich.
