Trump is right. When Julius Malema sings “Kill the Boer,” it’s not just a chant. It’s a symbol of hate. At what point do we stop pretending otherwise? We don’t say the K-word because it’s degrading and dehumanizing. We don’t fly the old South African flag because it represents pain and oppression. We’ve accepted that certain words and symbols carry deep wounds. So why is a song about killing white people somehow excused? If you sing that song with fury, hatred, and pride, what message are you sending? That it’s okay to call for violence as long as it’s against a group you resent? That’s not justice. That’s racism. To dismiss it as a “struggle song” in 2025 is laughable. Everyone knows exactly what it is. The passion, the tone, the timing, it’s not about history. It’s about incitement. If you can’t call this out, you’ve lost the right to speak on justice and equality. We either condemn all forms of racial hatred, or we are nothing more than hypocrites.
