@TrendingEx Ikeja Electric did not cut the light but turned it off completely for almost 2 weeks now and areas around airforce base, like shogunle, Ladipo & Oshodi that have no issues with bills payment are in darkness. So Ikeja electric is abusing its powers just like the Airforce is doing

Ikeja Electric is trending because soldiers stormed their office and brutalized officers for cutting their light.
In the video the Adult Nepa officers are seen kneeling down under the sun.
Turns out, Sam Ethan Airforce base has been owing IKEDC millions.
So, they agreed to be paying ₦60M monthly. But so far, the Airforce Base has not been paying.
Forcing IKEDC to disconnect them for about two weeks now. NAF claims the outage has exposed their base to security threats.
Instead of fulfilling their parts of the agreement or diplomatically resolving it.
This morning, soldiers stormed their Oshodi office beating, seizing their phones and punishing them. Yesterday they attacked IKEDC head office at Ikeja.
Somehow Nigerians are indifferent about the situation. Some think they deserve it for their outrageous estimated billing. While others are disappointed in the military for reducing themselves to community terrorists.
