To recap, the jury had two options to pick from for sentencing. 5-99 years for the murder charge, however, they were given the option of finding Karmelo guilty of sudden passion. All 12 jurors must agree to sudden passion in order for them to pick that. If they do, the prison time drops to 2-20 years in prison.

Karmelo should be either in prison for life with no chance of parole or put to death.
That goes for all convicted murderers, along with rapists and child molesters

Karmelo Anthony’s family raised $612,000 for his legal defense, hired a public defender, and bought a house. Looks like the fundraiser worked out just fine.
