Pearl Abyss provided @digitalfoundry with the PC equivalent visual settings for the PS5 and PS5 Pro PS5 Pro runs most basic settings at ultra settings (textures, model quality, lighting) and has better ray tracing. Now we're talking, the Pro is an excellent upgrade

@foxygames_uk If the PS5 runs a game at 30fps then the PS5 PRO won't run it at 60fps they both have the exact same Zen2 CPU running at the same clock speeds

So when PS6 launches (ETA 2028), PS5 will run (Cross Gen) #PS6 games @ 30fps, while #PS5Pro will run games @ 60fps+ using Frame Generation, well into PS6 lifecycle.

@Dontmiindme1 Turning off V-Sync allows you to play in Balanced mode with higher resolution if you have VRR turned on for ALL GAMES Ain the PS5 PRO SYSTEM MENU!!….

On my PS5 Pro I turned OFF V-Sync, that’s when VRR turns on in Crimson Desert. As soon as I turned V-Sync off I was able to turn on balanced mode and my FPS count went WAY UP!! My balanced mode now performs like performance mode on my TV!!.. #CrimsonDesert #VRR #PS5Pro
