Anaemia is a silent health crisis that affects 1 in 2 women in 🇮🇳. This puts them and their children at risk, causing fatigue, illness and impacting education and work opportunities. India’s Anaemia Mukt Bharat (Anaemia-Free India) strategy takes a targeted approach to ending anaemia through Iron and Folic Acid supplementation across the lifecycle, and targeted interventions like intravenous iron during pregnancy.
