@mathoncbro Great Q! We do see < additive effects when testing combos with overlap in target populations. Population-based synergy as we define it may appear additive in a bulk assay, but the distinction is that the drugs are targeting distinct groups, rather both acting on all groups.

@giannatbusch This is really interesting. Is this effect sometimes merely additive (or possibly less than additive, if targeted populations are overlapping)?
