He saved us from the Credit Crunch. Then he saved us from the News of the World. Now he will save us from Reform. Sometimes. Often. Always. It takes a Scot.

@MikeTappTweets But there is no problem with migrants as far as you’re concerned. So it’s all fine. Or have you got a problem with them???

It is our duty, it is our democracy, it is the British way to represent all residents. Reform has made it clear - if you don’t vote for them they will punish you through legislating. Treachery.

This stunt has backfired and unfortunately, that is all Reform UK are - a PR company hoping to be elected. I despise the Greens, but a serious democracy does not punish voters for voting a certain way. That is called tyranny.
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

If you vote Reform you will not have an illegal migrant deportation facility in your area. We will hold migrants awaiting deportation in constituencies that vote Green instead. You get what you vote for.

@TobiasByfield What a great idea. You want the illegals in the country , you can have them in your area. Perfect.

This is actually unbelievable. Here, Zia Yusuf (Reform's 'Shadow Home Secretary') is effectively *threatening* voters by saying they will place migrant detention centres in their constituencies if they don't vote in a Reform MP or a Reform Council. This is absolutely disgusting.

Absolute bombshell on CNN. CNN confirms precise Iranian strikes have caused unprecedented destruction to the majority of US military sites. At least 16 American installations are heavily damaged and virtually unusable. The Pentagon is hiding a massive defeat.

Dems let it fester there, GROSS. TRUMP: “When this project is finished, it will be fantastic!” LFG! The left hates this because it was Trump’s idea! Did anyone else hear Gary Player refer to Anna Jackson as a “good looking chick” live on Sky Sports last night? The worrying thing is, many people will think that type of behaviour if absolutely fine.

This Morning star Alison Hammond has dropped a staggering 11 stone, going from 30 stone at her heaviest. The secret? She ditched her “childish mentality” around food after a pre-diabetes scare (her mum had Type 2). Her favourite treat, toffees, is now limited to just a couple a day. Sweets and fatty foods are gone. She’s had a personal trainer for five years, does Reformer Pilates and boxing, and now eats everything in moderation. She claims it was NOT weight-loss jabs. 👀 thoughts?

“As I watch the events unfold in the Middle East and the reaction to the predictable weaponisation of the oil price, and listen to the red-faced, wet-palmed performances in Westminster, I recall the raised voice of the then-UK Defence Secretary Des Browne in 2007, when he insisted to me as Commanding Officer 22 SAS that, in spite of all the intelligence and evidence to the contrary, ‘Iran is not Britain’s enemy in Southern Iraq’. He was wrong about that then, just as those are today who still maintain that the IRGC is not a terrorist organisation. Or who insist that negotiating with Iran will deliver anything other than further death and more humiliation. Or indeed that failing to support the US does anything other than strengthen Tehran’s hand. Sometimes, the pearl-clutching international  ‘conflict resolution’ experts are wrong. And the only way to salve any dignity as a nation or as an individual is to face the evil and fight”.

@DPJHodges Shut up Dan. We are a Christian country so, yes we do have a few extra rights. Like we would have any rights in a Muslim country. Get real or watch it all fade away over the next few years.

This isn't just bigoted. It's also intellectually bankrupt. Kruger is literally saying Christians should have rights of worship not afforded to followers of other faiths. Then claims for followers of those faiths to ask for equity is an act of "dominance".
Danny Kruger@danny__kruger

Nick Timothy and Nigel Farage are right, and Sadiq Khan and Keir Starmer are wrong. Small groups of people, of whatever religion, praying in public places is fine. And as a Christian country we should allow a special privilege for churches to lead services in our national spaces, like the Palm Sunday celebration that happens in Trafalgar Square. What we don't want is mass ritual observances intended to claim the civic realm for another religion, or assert the domination of another culture over our own Christian traditions. What happens in our national spaces is not neutral. People use Trafalgar Square, for celebrations and demonstrations, to make a point about the kind of country they want us to be. The Palm Sunday pageant reminds us of who we are - not as individuals (many or most of us don't identify as Christians at all) but as a national community, with the roots of our institutions in the ground of the Bible and our most solemn communal moments, from coronations to funerals, mediated through the liturgies of the Church. A mass Adhan held there, or in any town square, is making a different point: that Britain is not a Christian country, and that - inshallah - one day it shall be Muslim. This is unacceptable to the British public and indeed incompatible with our constitution. As ever with these debates, the issue is partly one of kind and partly one of degree. There is an issue with Islam itself as a religion which in most interpretations does not admit of pluralism or freedom of conscience, and therefore is inherently aggrandising, including over territory. But with a bit of confidence and a bit of toleration we could handle that - if it were not for the issue of degree. It is the scale of Islam in Britain, and the ambition of its leaders for greater scale, that makes the problem. The numbers of people who assembled for the adhan in Trafalgar Square, clearly and openly claiming the territory for a faith with no connection (indeed, with strong doctrinal disagreement) with the model of Western liberal democracy that Britain has developed and exported to the world - that is the problem. The numbers, whether everyone there understood it this way or not (and I suspect many did), convey an explicit threat to the foundations of our country. Being relaxed about other people's religion is a good thing, a very British thing. I don't mind modern druids dancing around Stonehenge in my constituency (arguably, though the historicity is tenuous, they have a claim to the place). I don't mind small groups of Hindus or Buddhists or Muslims demonstrating the reality of Britain's religious toleration by worshiping in Trafalgar Square. But let's not kid ourselves about this adhan, or pretend that we're just seeing another harmless expression of Britain's religious diversity. We are seeing an abuse of liberalism, led by people who are not themselves liberal; or - let us imagine they are acting in good faith - who are themselves deceived about what they are doing. It should not happen again. And it would be good to hear the Church of England say so.

The Free Speech Union
The Free Speech Union@SpeechUnion·
The official definition of Islamophobia — now repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — will be used to suppress legitimate criticism of Islam and its practices. We are already seeing this play out. Less than a week after the Communities Secretary, Steve Reed, published the definition — assuring the public it would not stifle legitimate criticism of Islam — Nick Timothy is facing calls to resign after criticising mass ritual prayer by Muslims in Trafalgar Square. He has been accused of “anti-Muslim hostility” by a Labour MP and reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards. This is a Muslim blasphemy law by the back door. Today, the Free Speech Union has sent a pre-action letter to Steve Reed, threatening judicial review if the definition and guidance are not withdrawn immediately. This is one of the biggest fights we’ve taken on in our six-year history. Help us stop the Government’s de facto Muslim blasphemy law 👇
