@MobilePESGamer1 @KaberiaCommoner But the guy was a close 2nd in 2022 do a proper research bruh

@KaberiaCommoner I said it, perhaps also UDA sponsored fake voters to ensure a weaker candidate wins.
English

Paul Waiganjo, one of Kenya’s most recognizable Kikuyu artists, has broken his silence following a contentious nomination process for the Ol Kalou by-election, alleging he was edged out after refusing to offer financial inducements to party officials.
Waiganjo, who sought the seat under the Democratic Congress Party (DCP), claimed party leaders demanded money in exchange for political backing despite his strong grassroots support. After refusing, he says the nomination was quietly handed to another candidate.
The controversy has angered some Ol Kalou residents and DCP supporters, who feel the process ignored the will of the people and favored those with financial influence.
Political analysts warn that such allegations could damage public trust in party structures, especially among younger voters increasingly opposed to “money politics.” Critics argue the situation exposes the contradiction between parties preaching democracy publicly while allegedly undermining it internally.

@KaberiaCommoner He should just vie on his own party and stop complaining about other people's properties.

@OkiyaOmtatah Everyone should wake up. Otherwise we will be buried alive by the weight of a debt that we never benefited from.

Harry Truman once said: “The only thing new in the world is the history you do not know.”
Fellow Kenyans, our crisis did not begin yesterday.
The looting. The illegal debt. The betrayal of the Constitution. The collapse of public services. The silence of career politicians. These are old scripts repeated by leaders who believe Kenyans forget quickly.
They believe another scandal will trend. Another distraction will come. Another funeral, another handshake, another coalition, another slogan.
Meanwhile, you pay more taxes for debts you never approved and never benefited from.
Between 2014 and 2024, Kenya borrowed Sh9.11 trillion. Only Sh2.57 trillion received proper parliamentary approval. The remaining Sh6.54 trillion is odious debt, unconstitutional borrowing forced onto the backs of struggling citizens.
This is why food prices rise while wages stagnate. This is why hospitals lack medicine while billions disappear. This is why schools decline while politicians grow richer. This is why young people graduate into hopelessness.
And while Kenya bleeds, legacy politicians remain silent. Many are not fighting to fix the system. They are fighting to inherit it.
They criminalize protesters. They weaponize police. They reward political loyalists with advisory jobs funded by taxpayers. They protect corruption networks while ordinary Kenyans suffer.
We go to court because the Constitution is the last line of defense between the people and organized state plunder.
From the struggle for independence in 1963, to Saba Saba, to the 2010 Constitution, every generation of Kenyans has been called to defend freedom against greed and impunity. History is watching us now.
If we remain silent while our country is looted, future generations will remember us as the people who watched Kenya collapse and did nothing.
Read history. Defend the Constitution. Reject fear. Reject silence. Reject thieves disguised as leaders.
We must be a nation that reads, remembers, and refuses to be misled by the same old tricks. Know your history, defend your rights, and let us not be "newly" surprised by what we should have already learned.

Sifuna was directly inviting Rigathi Gachagua for a unison force ahead of next year's elections.
What I don't get is, him being a lawyer, and his team comprising of really learned fellows including Babu Owino, what is it that they need from Gachagua - an impeached DP?
Why can't they work together to absorb fresh bloods in the political space?
What is it that Gachagua will offer?

All Mount Kenya leaders are set to abandon UDA and flock to DCP, now the most popular party in the region.
This mirrors the exact mistake Jubilee made, which breathed life into UDA in 2022.
President Ruto’s reelection chances are fading fast.
One wonders if he will peacefully hand over power like Uhuru did.
Instead of consolidating support, his allies are busy attacking Uhuru the very man they claimed to have defeated even in his Kikuyu stronghold.
The big difference? In 2022, Uhuru had lost favour with his backyard.
Today, through Ruto’s missteps, he has fully regained it.
History is repeating itself, and the mountain is shifting.
The handwriting is on the wall. There's no escape route completely.

@Broadbasedgal Thankyou for reminding us. Sorry we forgot madam.

The story of this doctor is kinda funny, the media reports that he visited wangari in kitengela, had food and sex then slept and never woke up,I wonder why would a lady allow an old Mzee to enter her house? @KaberiaCommoner We've really been brainwashed when did KFC and Artcaffe become the S.I u it of development?
English

@BernardKavuli He and Sifuna keep the Senate lively. But his sycophancy to Ruto id on another level.
English

@therealantoh Unfortunately your respect is not needed by him.
English

@EmmanuelCh68985 @Honcalebamisi I was wondering this too. If a law maker can be this ignorant then we are doomed as a country.
English

@Honcalebamisi Who really elected you to be their representative in parliament? Is it president William Ruto who will decide this matter? This is something which is already in the court and it will upon the it to decide after all the evidence has adduced in court by either side.
English

The big question this morning is will Ruto let Gachagua off the impeachment impediments and allow him to run for presidency?
If he runs for top seat, will central region vote for Gachagua or another candidate outside central?
Can the court overturn the impeachment? If it does, and gachagua replaces Kindiki as running mate , will central region continue singing #Wantam or #Tutam?
If you answer these questions succefully count yourself as politically mature .The rest I will advise you later .
Since Baba left us,
Nothing surprises me in Kenyan politics !
Kenya needs a renaissance
