You can copy any organizational model you like. You just can’t paste it.

NIO’s 5 and 6 series models and the ONVO brand are now eligible for a seven-year low-interest financing program that is cheaper than Tesla’s, featuring APR 0.96% with 20% down payment, no penalty and service charge for early payments. $NIO $TSLA

@Jas0nYu @MZaper Does that mean mean we will see an updated ET7 and ES7? The latter one doesn’t make that much sense, but an ET9 “Lite” does.

@CovidNoGood @Jas0nYu That would be a killer. Mostly because the ES7 is now almost unavailable outside of China and the ES8 is pushed as the only (new) alternative. Of course, a better car, but also a different car. Clearmotion can make it a sportier drive (more control) and therefore compete better

@gideondk @Jas0nYu Yes. It has superior air suspension but not the other goodies since ES7 came out earlier than NT2.0 ES6. NT2.5/3.0 ES7 should get all that you mentioned and some. Maybe ClearMotion suspension, screens, fridge, ET9 style leather, tables…

@CovidNoGood @Jas0nYu I have one. And it’s an amazing car. Only problem for most people is that it’s a difficult choice over the ES6, especially since it has an upgraded interior, sound system, chairs and actual matrix headlights

@Jas0nYu ES7 is an amazing car. I drove it at an event in Hamburg. Unfortunately it lagged some distinction and features which is why it did not sell so well. More luxury, maybe ClearMotion suspension? I hope the facelift does it better. Rooting for it.

@Jas0nYu Can’t shake the feeling that $ONVO looks so much more fun than $NIO. I understand the difference between premium and fun, but horizontal front and larger rear screens brings more of the infotainment capabilities NIO was trying to add over the last versions.

I estimate the Baas price to be approximately US$22,000, with an additional US$80 per month Baas subscription fee.

@Jas0nYu I really like my ES7. Seems the love ain’t shared. Wondering how the ES8 will do in Europe when it’s released. Could be a game changer for the Range Rover fans.

@Jas0nYu Although the S and X are doing poorly here too. Guess everyone wants to run it on the cheap.

@reubenbond @msftorleans Pluggable runtimes is something new though. Allowing you to run the same programming model not on different storage engines for event sourcing and read models. But also to just run with database locking in simpler environments and full scale clustering in high volume ones.

@reubenbond @msftorleans Will do! It’s the perfection of some patterns I’ve used in the wild to great success (and are running in production on some serious applications). Instead of rewriting it in a different form at every client I enter, it’s time to switch things around.

Releasing something over the next couple of weeks that is overdue for a long time: Chronicle. A .NET framework and accompanied documentation on patterns that serve as my default go-to on building evolutionary architectures.

@msftorleans The first releases will be rough around the edges and will potentially miss some initial back-ends. But I will share the journey with you all as soon as I can.

@msftorleans All with one single focus: the programming model, its patterns and implementation stays the intact, wherever you want to run the code and on whatever back-ends. It's about time we start to focus on writing stories instead of technology. That's what Chronicle is all about.
