GRATITUDE
Last week, I reached a defining milestone - I officially graduated with my MBA in Public Administration from the University of Abuja.
I’m deeply grateful to God Almighty for the strength, resilience, and clarity to see this journey through.
To my mentor and leader, Hon Stella Okotete - thank you for exemplifying excellence in scholarship and leadership. Your standard has not only shaped my thinking but continues to raise my ambition each day. Your support and belief in me have been invaluable.🙏🏿
To my family and friends (you know yourselves) - your encouragement, patience, and unwavering support carried me more than you know.
This isn’t just a qualification; it’s a renewed responsibility.
Here’s to new beginnings - and to translating knowledge into meaningful, purposeful impact to make our community and society better!

As I step into this new year of life, I pause to thank God for the precious gift of another year on earth. I am deeply grateful for His mercy that has sustained me, His favor that has gone before me, and His grace that has carried me through every season.
*Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.' — Lamentations 3:22–23*
Today, I celebrate not just the passing of time, but the faithfulness of a God who has made all things new. I invite you to rejoice with me as I mark this special milestone.
Happy Birthday to Me.

My dear fellow Nigerians,
Today, as I clock another year in the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration.
To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for air time on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely.
I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me.
Consistent with my tradition over the years to mark my birthday in line with the mood of the nation each year, I resolved to also observe this year's birthday low key.
As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we've faced since we initiated our reforms. I'm glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by ongoing Middle East crisis.
The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me, our Renewed Hope team and to our government. We achieved the gains together.
As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future for our citizens and future generations.
We are determined to confront some of the challenges we face today, and with your continued support, we shall overcome.
Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, prosperous and more resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa.
Thank you all, and happy 74th birthday to me!
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

For anyone who might find themselves in a similar situation, here is what to do:
1. Go to the bank where the money was wrongly sent and lodge a formal complaint. They will usually advise you to obtain a court order to substantiate your claim.
2. File your case at any High Court of your choice. The defendants (or respondents) will be the wrong beneficiary and the bank.
3. Ask the court to direct the bank (the 2nd respondent) to reverse the funds you mistakenly transferred into the wrong account. You can also include the correct account number to strengthen your case.
4. Once the court grants your request, take the certified court order back to the bank. Their legal team will verify and authenticate it, which may take up to a week.
5. Somebody asked ‘what if the person has spent the money?’. Even if it takes years, the wrong beneficiary has a debit balance already.
Thank you.
