BREAKING: ISWAP Terrorists condemn the attack carried out by the military against its group and collaborators in Jilli 4 days ago called it a desperation and also said they deliberately attacked Muslims rather than protect them. The terrorist group also condemned the military for going after the civilian collaborators in Monguno, after the military demolished houses belonging to collabrators for not reporting the terrorist movement, the group called it a fruitless effort. Analysis: For ISWAP to condemn these actions it shows the military is doing the right thing going after the terrorists collaborators.

AIR STRIKE DESTROYS ISWAP LOGISTICS HUB IN BORNO The Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) has carried out a successful precision air strike on a terrorist enclave and logistics hub near Jilli village in Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State. The operation, executed on 11 April 2026, followed sustained Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions over the Bindul–Jilli axis, a known **terrorist** movement corridor linked to Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) activities. Military sources disclosed that the strike was triggered after real-time surveillance and credible human intelligence confirmed the movement of terrorist elements, including motorcycles and gun trucks, converging on the location. Following a thorough target validation process, the Air Component engaged the site with precision strikes. Post-strike assessments revealed that the logistics hub was destroyed, with scores of terrorists neutralised and several vehicles and equipment eliminated. Surviving elements were seen fleeing the area. The targeted network has been linked to recent attacks in the region, including the January 2026 Improvised Explosive Device (IED) incident along the Gubio–Damasak route, which claimed the lives of eight soldiers, as well as coordinated attacks in Ngamdu and Benisheik on 9 April. In a related development, security forces on 12 April arrested a suspected logistics courier identified as “Turja Bulu” in Ngamdu. During preliminary interrogation, he reportedly confessed to participating in the Benisheik attack and providing logistical support to terrorist groups operating within the Magumeri–Gubio axis. Military authorities stated that the operation has significantly disrupted planned attacks and weakened terrorist logistics capabilities in the area. They reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining pressure on insurgent elements across the North East. Authorities also reiterated the ban on motorcycle movement in Borno and Yobe States, citing their continued use by terrorist groups for mobility and logistics.

Summary of the Space concerning DDR programme (@Op_SAFECORRIDOR) The most important details Nigeria DOES NOT release, reintegrate or release “repentant terrorists”. Operation SAFE CORRIDOR is a program for low risk individuals associated with terrorists and criminal groups across Nigeria who have successfully completed the Federal Government led De-radicalization, Rehabilitation and Reintegration (DRR) programme, and not “repentant terrorists”. 1 - According to details heard on this space, Boko Haram/ISWAP apparently rape captured Men and Women repeatedly in addition to drugging them up as process of coercing, controlling. manipulating and radicalising their victims. 2 - Apparently a lot of victims of Kidnap are turned into menial workers who run errands for these terrorists and also work on the farms to cultivate cash crops for sale and for feeding of these terrorists. 3 - The much discussed Operation Safe Corridor which aims to rehabilitate and integrate low risk associates of these terrorists and it strictly excludes those involved in active kinetic engagement of our military i.e those who bomb, attack and kill civilians and soldiers. 4 - The Operation is strictly for those forcefully coopted and coerced into criminal activities like concealing and transporting weaponry, Spying, Farm workers, Menial workers and so on who are mostly victims of circumstance. 5 - The Operation also does not handle women and girls. They are rescued and handed over to specific organisations who partner with the ministry of women affairs, the UN and other international partners. 6 - Another peculiarity is that these victims also require medical attention as they often appear to not only need psychosocial rehabilitation they also require treatments for STIs and STDs contracted from these terrorists. 7 - The number of low-risk Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists who surrendered or captured members and have gone through the Disarmament, Demobilization, Rehabilitation, and Reintegration program as at August 2025 is about 3,000. 8 - The deradicalisation program is conducted by the Federal Correctional Service in conjunction with various local and international partners. 9 - The Program is headed by the defence HQ and has more than 17 other agencies, MDAs, state governments and ministries involved. The operation is chaired by the Chief of Defence Staff with its core rehab operations led by civilians. 10 - The identity, NIN and BVN of every rehabilitated client who has hone through the program are with the relevant security agencies.

We have received a new set of 24-car trains to strengthen the Lagos Red Line fleet. This will improve capacity, reduce wait times and make daily commuting easier for Lagosians. We remain focused on building a transport system that is efficient and reliable for everyone. That is still our goal.

NIGERIAN ARMY INTENSIFIES ONSLAUGHT ON BANDITS, OVERRUNS CAMPS, CAPTURES FAMILIES, DESTROYS LOGISTICS IN BAUCHI FOREST The Nigerian Army has continued to record significant successes in its ongoing clearance operations against bandit elements, as troops sustain offensive actions across identified criminal enclaves in Bauchi. In continuation of ongoing operations, troops of 33 Artillery Brigade, in conjunction with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) team, conducted a clearance operation within the Dajin Madam Forest. The operation resulted in the successful clearing of several bandit camps, including the notorious Azuge and Hari camps, further disrupting the activities of criminal elements in the area. During the operation, troops neutralized a number of bandits, while several others fled under sustained military pressure. In addition, bandits’ family members comprising 6 women and 13 children were taken into custody. Several motorcycles used by the criminals for mobility were also destroyed, further limiting their operational capability. A cache of items was recovered during the operation, including one AK-47 magazine, packs of tramadol drugs, a pair of police uniform, several military uniforms and 2 horses, all indicative of the group’s criminal activities and attempts at impersonation to commit criminalities. Troops are currently maintaining a firm hold position within the Dajin Madam Forest to consolidate on the gains achieved and prevent any re-infiltration by fleeing bandits. In a related development, troops conducted a follow-up clearance operation to Mainamaji as part of the exploitation of the general area following recent air strikes on bandit hideouts. The operation recorded no contact, further suggesting that sustained military pressure has significantly degraded the presence and movement of bandits within the area. The continued success of these operations underscores the effectiveness of ongoing military offensives and the increasing dislocation of bandit networks. The Nigerian Army remains resolute in its commitment to sustaining pressure on all criminal elements until lasting peace and security are restored. Members of the public are encouraged to continue supporting security agencies with timely and credible information.

Despite loving President Tinubu and I forever will, I genuinely feel that people who think he hasn’t done enough in their view are justified. I do not hold any resentment towards wanting something different, but I get angry when the presented alternative is dumb Obi😭.

The burial, held at the Maimalari Cantonment Cemetery in Maiduguri, Borno State, was marked by deep sorrow, honour and reflection. Amidst grieving families and fellow comrades, the fallen heroes were accorded full military honours in recognition of their selfless service and unwavering commitment to the defence of the nation. Their sacrifice serves as a poignant reminder of the heavy price paid daily by members of the Armed Forces to safeguard the peace, unity and security of Nigeria. In attendance were the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), the Chief of Defence Staff, the Chief of Army Staff and other senior military officers, all gathered to honour the courage and dedication of the departed. In their tributes, the Governor, the Minister of Defence, the CDS, and the COAS described the fallen soldiers as true patriots who stood firm in the face of danger and made the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live in safety. They noted that their bravery and sense of duty will continue to inspire generations and remain etched in the nation’s history.
