“Worships” is a stretch. lol I’ve been clear that Newsom deserves criticism for California’s homelessness response, that the housing crisis is real, and that Prop 13 is a structural problem he hasn’t fixed. What I’ve also said is that California has the fourth-largest economy on earth, the highest median income of any large state, the lowest cost-adjusted poverty rate in America, and produces more federal tax revenue than most red states combined. Both things can be true. The state has real problems and is also the largest economy in America by a wide margin. Pointing at the second fact isn’t worship. It’s just refusing to pretend the first fact erases the rest. Also, “anyone complaining about economic hardships there is a liar” is something I’ve never written. You invented a position to argue against. The actual argument is that the affordability crisis is real, the housing shortage is real, and the cause is restrictive zoning and Prop 13, not socialism. If you want to fix California’s problems, the answer is more housing supply, not voting against the only state in America actually trying to address it.

Love the energy but maybe check your context because the 2022 spike was driven by a massive surge in global demand as the entire world economy rebounded from a once-in-a-century pandemic, something no president on earth controls, while the prices you are whining about now in 2026 are the direct result of a supply shortage caused by your guy choosing to start a war in the Middle East that every energy analyst alive warned would spike oil prices. So your own meme actually proves that one president dealt with an uncontrollable global demand surge while the other deliberately created a supply crisis through an elective war and somehow you thought this was a own on the left.
