I played the newly remodeled Maggie Hathaway par 3 in LA today. 9 holes for $8.25. The courses namesake was a civil rights activist, blues singer, actress, sportswriter and golfer throughout the 50’s and 60’s. Don’t let them tell you golf is not for the people.

Ash is gone all weekend for bachelorette party. Part of me wants to move all the recording gear my guitars and stuff into the living room and blackout and make a concept album about two gay cane toads named Gracious and Loam. The other part of me wants to buy guns on the computer

it’s a good bit that instead of just making a boba fett show, disney made a show about a new guy who is exactly like boba fett and gave him a show. then they also made a boba fett show. and that show crossed over with the show with the new guy. it’s just good brand strategy.

These conversations are always dumb because the show that “makes” anime popular gets changed every 10 years. There’s people who say Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online made anime popular in America.

The “anime became global because of Dragon Ball” narrative ignores how massive anime already was across Europe and Latin America. It had massive cultural influence long before most Americans noticed anime.
