Embark Studios says it has no plans to add a PvE mode to ARC Raiders. Many players have asked for a PvE mode where they can fight AI enemies without other players but Embark says PvP is a key part of the game and wants to keep that experience. The discussion started again after The Finals, another Embark game, added a new pve mode where players can fight bots instead of other people Embark is also testing a mode with less PvP on ARC Raiders’ Chinese servers, but it is not a full PvE mode, and there is no news about it coming to the global version.

@Pirat_Nation And to address the PvE-only mode, I've only seen a sum of people asking for such, the majority ever asked for more content not a new mode, that would only segregate more the player base and accelerate the dying process.

@Pirat_Nation Of course they wont. It's delusional to think there was ever a chance. Less than 2% have asked for PVE, while everyone else is very happy with the intended PVPVE. People just have to play games as they are, not as they want them to be.

According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Obsidian hasn’t completely given up on Avowed 2 despite the project being canceled. Schreier says a small team is still working on the game while waiting for developers to transition to other projects, including the studio’s reported new Fallout title. He claims the sequel was much further along than many people would expect for a follow-up to a game that launched last year. The idea, according to Schreier, is that if the team can push the project close enough to completion, Xbox could decide it’s worth funding the final stretch and release it rather than letting all that work go to waste.
