@G0ffThew Avowed was horrendous. There was not a single "good" RPG mechanic in it. The only thing it had was the pretty satisfying melee, but the writing was horrific, the mechanics dumbed down, and the heavy reliance on combat to carry it, meant it was an extremely repetitive experience.

I really hope they come back around to it. Avowed is such a tactile, satisfying game to *play* compared to almost everything else like it. I understand the reactive simulation of Skyrim is more appealing to casuals, but I’ll take actually good RPG mechanics over that any day.

Obsidian will continue to work on Avowed 2 | Jason Schreier "Obsidian have a small team that was working on Avowed 2, that's going to still work on Avowed 2 even though it is canceled. While they wait for other projects like Fallout to be ready for them. Maybe in hopes of getting it uncancelled, it was actually further along than most people would guess for a sequel to a game that came out last year. So I think their hope is perhaps they'll get it so close to finish that Xbox will look at it and say "Okay you can finish and release this, it won't cost that much more to finish it".

NexusMods has predictably censored my Male/Female mod for @Palworld_EN and stated that; "Implying that anything outside your gender view is wrong I.E "Female and Male as it should be" would be considered a violation of our Terms of Service." This wasn't the case. The description read; "This mod simply renames the character-creation body-type selector from "Type 1" / "Type 2" to "Female" / "Male" as it should be (with gender symbols)" simply implying that it should be normal. Yet they cited it as "Inflammatory language" To their credit they said they're not taking it down which is itself surprising, but censorship is STILL censorship and it must be called out whenever it happens. I love Starfield fans. They'll dunk on Obsidian's recent duds but will completely ignore Starfield's 57% Steam User Score & the massive player bases of Bethesda's previous (much more successful) games & other big name RPGs.. Just really funny to me.
