I was blessed to travel from one end of the state to the other last week celebrating National Financial Literacy Month. Our @WVTreasury team is doing amazing work bringing financial education to middle school students across the state!

For almost two decades, the West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office has empowered West Virginia students with personal financial education through its one-of-a-kind 'Get a Life' budget simulation program. On Tuesday, Wood County Christian School and Parkersburg Catholic High School participated in the program with Treasurer Pack in attendance. We will be coming to a school near you this Spring! Our office hosted a 'Get a Life' financial education event for students at Park Middle School in Beckley today. For almost two decades, our office has empowered West Virginia students with personal financial education through its one-of-a-kind 'Get a Life' budget simulation.

Last Friday, State Treasurer Larry Pack presented the second Get a Life Community Volunteer Award to the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce at Shady Spring Middle School. We are thankful for all of our community volunteers who are dedicated to teaching financial literacy!
