I have a great deal of respect for creators like @IanRunkle, @aburkhartlaw and @defense_diaries. I support their commitment to free speech and anti-corruption cases. My opinion diverges when it comes to @DoctorTurtleboy’s cases because of my personal knowledge of how hypocritical Aidan is and that he has attempted to silence others by framing them for crimes they didn’t commit using the corrupt government as a sword and actually quite regularly intimidated witnesses outside of his charged conduct, including me. I can’t expect them to have the same level of knowledge of his crimes as I do. I, like many of you, am disappointed when I see people I respect so much end up in situations where they are publicly supporting someone who is as corrupt as the government he’s claiming to fight. I just disagree with them while understanding their level of knowledge and investment in Kearney’s actions is a strong mitigating factor in their decision to publicly support him. I truly don’t hold it against any of them because despite my knowledge of Kearney’s lack of principles beyond his own benefit, I find them all to be strong principled individuals with whom I usually agree and admire. This doesn’t change that beyond my disappointment that I think they’ve missed the bigger picture here. I won’t be unsubscribing or bad-mouthing them for being busy successful creators who simply don’t have a deep knowledge of or understand all of the facts surrounding Kearney. Everyone figures it out when they do. I would be a hypocrite if I didn’t recognize that I also once supported Kearney pretty aggressively and that the same criticisms could easily be made about me. If any of them want to take a look at my last 5 or so articles, I would welcome their comments. If they don’t, I’m ok with that as well. I’ll still call balls and strikes as my opinion dictates but I won’t write people off so quickly when I believe they don’t necessarily understand the entire issue.
