The interruption to Classical Mixtape is annoying, but there's a way to go before reaching the dementing levels of @BBCRadio4. I'm often put off listening to progs there by hearing the same trailer too many times.

I'm sick of seeing ads for Water Aid for Africa so I thought I'd do a quick bit of research to find out why they're still asking for handouts, why things still haven't improved. I remember being in primary school in the 70's and we were being asked for money for Ethiopia then. It's ridiculous that we're still being asked now. We give them foreign aid and now climate aid but this one article explains why they're not thriving We shouldn't give them anymore money until they get their acts together. The country is rich in resources, they have the resources to become self sufficient instead of asking for constant hand-outs Foreign aid and climate aid is just another scam agra.org/news/daniel-nj….

Without sounding dumb, I’m not really clear what the Taliban’s endgame is. More women dying, especially in childbirth, means fewer women to make the babies the men want to later subjugate as baby-makers. What am I missing?
