A “modern outbound stack” used to mean this: 10+ tools $10k to $15k a month One RevOps person just to keep it running And even then, half of it broke every week. We tried that setup. - Clay for data - CRM for tracking - Email tools - LinkedIn tools - Dialer - Enrichment - Automation Everything looked good on paper. In reality: Too many logins Data all over the place Leads falling through gaps Reps spending more time managing tools than talking to buyers Nothing felt connected. What changed was not adding more tools. It was simplifying the system. We cut most of the stack and focused on one thing: Timing. Instead of scraping lists and blasting messages, we started working off live signals. Who just changed jobs Who is hiring Who is talking about a problem we solve Who is engaging with competitors That became the list. Then we layered in one system to handle the rest.
