@the_dvorkin @githedgehog Agreed. For starters, customers must evaluate every vendor in the path of mission critical apps in the same way. I've seen customers (and regulators) be thorough evaluating hyperscalers about their operational practices, it seems like they are not as strict with other providers.

Cloud diversification, distributed cloud and repatriation of mission critical things sounds really amazing until you're hit with amazing complexity of enterprise grade infrastructure. There has to be a better way. /cc @githedgehog cio.com/article/347588…
