If we tax AI, we can use that money to build a country that works for everyone. Where healthcare is treated as a human right. Where every American is guaranteed a good job. Where education isn’t a privilege reserved for the wealthy. That’s why I’m fighting to tax AI.

@alex_fasulo Ask @NYSERDA how we're doing on "BuildSmart 2020". That was @andrewcuomo's appeasement to the eco-radicals. It's 6 years past the deadline and lots of the promises haven't even been mentioned since the original press release. Pathetic.

"New York will help save the climate by 2040 when we reach net zero!" Politicians spew a lot of garbage that sounds like they care about the environment when they're at their podiums. The idea that New York State could be "net zero" with emissions by 2040 has real extraction numbers behind it that everyone needs to know. These politicians have never cared about the environment, ever, and that includes @KathyHochul who is pushing the destructive Climate Act that was created in 2019 on our rural towns and villages through ORES. To get to this made-up net zero concept by 2040, NY needs (based on its own planning documents) 60+ GW of solar and 9 GW offshore wind, plus large onshore wind expansion. With solar alone, 5 tons of copper is needed per MW. The total copper needed? 300,000 TONS of copper. That does NOT include aluminum framing, steel racking, silicon processing, and silver. New York would also need hundreds of thousands of tons of steel, concrete, and aluminum, as well as lithium, batteries, neodymium, and dysprosium. That comes to over ONE BILLION tons of mined material over decades to reach "net zero." For just one state! And what none of these social justice politicians want to say out loud, or for you, the common folk, to know... New York is outsourcing most of this mining. Here's where our mined materials are coming from: Copper → Chile, Peru Lithium → South America, Australia Cobalt → Congo Rare earths → China While these politicians tell you they are "reducing in-state emissions" and "saving the climate," they are driving permanent environmental damage and extraction elsewhere at scale. It's a modern colonizing story, one in which the green energy empire is exploiting lands far away to convince you that they are working to save the environment. There are not enough resources on planet earth for every green energy-obsessed country to reach net zero. It's a LIE. And the politicians and corporations are getting rich off this arrangement while the public remains unaware of what they are really doing. Everyone must wake up to this and soon.

@JohnJHarwood You can learn something from everyone, no matter who they are or what jobs they've held. For example, you just taught the world that you have no class and are a little prick. This concludes today's lesson.

Horseshoe Solar, located in Rush and Caledonia, New York, where Invenergy's third-party contractors punctured their aquifer this past winter, contains a significant amount of prime farmland. In fact, our state's own Department of Ag + Markets went on the record in 2019 with being "concerned with the amount of prime farmland" being considered in this project. Below you can read quotes directly from the Department of Public Service docket that were filed as a response to Invenergy's Preliminary Scoping statement. Particularly interesting is this quote, which everyone needs to read today: "Notably absent are any indication that other suitable sites were evaluated. A majority of the land is comprised of farmland and constitutes some of the most productive agricultural land in both counties. The Department recommends other alternative sites, which are not flat, productive, well-drained farmland comprised of Prime Farmland soil or Farmland of Statewide Importance." That same year, the 2019 Climate Act was passed, creating a solar panel and wind turbine religion that started to trump all other agencies in our state. One year later, ORES was created inside a budget bill. The state began siting solar and wind complexes using its own Mineral Soil Groups (MSGs) classification system, going against the USDA soil classification system that the rest of the country uses. The NYS Dept. of Ag + Markets helped rollout the MSG system that downgrades what's considered prime farmland by USDA standards. As you can see, pre-2020, the Dept. of Ag + Markets was not yet compromised. That's why they went on record expressing their grave concern with the siting of Horseshoe Solar. Not even 2 years later and the department was involved in downgrading statewide soils of importance. It was all made possible with the 2019 Climate Act. Horseshoe Solar is currently being built on prime farmland. They drilled under the Genesee River 7 times with a 42.8% failure rate (Horizontal Directional Drilling). ALL New York agencies, from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to the Dept. of Ag + Markets have been told to stand down, from the governor's office, to make way for solar and wind complexes. Our state is being held hostage by foreign renewable corporations. Please read the quotes, directly from the Dept. of Ag + Markets in 2019, below.

Dept. of Agriculture@USDA

Secretary Rollins welcomes President Donald J. Trump’s appointment of @johnrich as Special Envoy for American Landowners.   As Special Envoy, Rich will serve as a strong advocate for America’s farmers, ranchers, and private landowners, helping ensure their rights are protected and their voices are heard in Washington. He will work closely with USDA and stakeholders across the country to defend private property rights and address growing concerns from landowners facing pressure related to large-scale solar and wind development that impact productive farmland and rural communities.   America’s farmers and ranchers deserve a government that stands with them. USDA looks forward to working alongside John as we continue advancing President Trump’s commitment to protecting rural America and preserving our nation’s agricultural heritage. 🔗usda.gov/about-usda/new…

To fully understand how evil these foreign solar and wind corporations are, I need you to take some time out of your day today to read the screenshots attached below. I anonymously received one of the solar contracts that was dispersed to landowners in the Flat Creek Solar project footprint, which is located in Montgomery County. Flat Creek, like every ORES project, received its final permit. It will irreversibly fragment and destroy the Amish community there, as well as the bald eagles that nest WITHIN the facility site (I documented that on here earlier this spring). I'm not sure where to begin with how one-sided, crooked, and broad this contract is in favor of the developer. It grants the developer broad rights to transmission facilities poles, underground and overhead lines, communication systems, access roads, vehicles and equipment, and future replacement and reconstruction. The easement is PERPETUAL! The contract is for 25-years, but if you read on, you see the developer has the right to extend it for 5-years at a time at will. That's how these contracts become 40-year+ leases that transfer our prime farmland into the hands of foreign countries. Owner restrictions are shocking. On page 4-5, the owner agrees not to interfere with the easement, build structures that affect it, use the property in ways that could impact developer operations, or impose restrictions that impair the easement. Page 6 contains a "Taking" provision. If eminent domain occurs, the developer receives compensation for damage to its facilities and the developer may receive compensation for loss of use and business interests. The developer also retains significant rights regarding the award... many landowners don't realize they will be sharing condemnation proceeds with an easement holder! And don't forget the gag order. It says the owner agrees to keep confidential: the agreement itself, information regarding the developer's operations, information regarding the developer's project, and "any other information" provided by the developer that is designated confidential. If you can think, for a single moment, that this is about saving the environment and the climate, you need to read through this contract below. This is foreign corporate pillaging and intimidation waged against the rural towns that safeguard our best farmland in New York State.
