@giuseppemaezza @RAWigger The 1897 Russian census has nothing to do with WWII deaths. That number 5.2 million covered only the Tsar's empire. Most of the supposed 6 million killed came from the parts of Poland outside the censusand also Germany and Hungary places never in that census. So it's Irrelevant.
