Good morning Balhalla ☀️⚔️ Slept on the game and here’s my early morning thoughts… Sometimes the stars align for greatness, and sometimes they align for everything to go wrong at once. Last night felt like one of those nights. Anybody who watches this team knows that wasn’t normal basketball for us. Do we still have concerns? Of course. The frontcourt is still something to watch, but honestly I thought Kiah Stokes held her own. It was just an unfortunate chain reaction of things that snowballed into a loss. And this is the WNBA. The Liberty lost to the Fire. The Mercury lost to the Lynx. These are the best players in the world. Upsets and ugly nights are gonna happen. What I DON’T want to see is us turning on each other. We got a lot of fanbases within this fanbase all rooting for their favorite players and wanting more minutes for them. I’m a huge Kayla Thornton fan myself, and even I can admit maybe it just wasn’t her night. But I’m not gonna kill Nat for trusting her All-Star. At the end of the day, this is still a special season 💜 More wins = more attention, and with that comes more noise, more criticism, and more people looking for reasons to dislike us. Stay grounded. We got players coming back, players joining soon, and more talent on the way. Speak your mind, vent if you need to, but remember we all in this together
