@ElliottSale @SamMcHaffie This is by no means a one action fits all situation as we know everyone is different. It's important to share our findings and that it was the article a small insight into the interventions we make at a place where we take womens health and the athlete very seriously.

Tracking athletes' menstrual cycles and related symptoms to make individualised decisions based on data and conversations is important and necessary. Putting in place generic strategies for different phases based on no high quality evidence, is unhelpful and potentially harmful.

🧵Female athletes please read: 1. The menstrual cycle does NOT have a dropsies phase 2. There is no high-quality evidence to say that your reaction time will be decreased in Phase 1 (when oestrogen and progesterone are low) & 4 (when oestrogen and progesterone are high)

@JillLoyden No truer words said. No journey is the same, therefore the way we coach individually must be different to get results

To me, coaching is like doing a puzzle WITH a gk. Through working together, collaborating, experimenting, and exploring together, the picture becomes more clear. With each gk, it’s a different picture . And with each ending is a recognition of hundreds more problems to solve.
