@gl_robinson @macflynnromance You can’t be on 70% royalties for paperbacks sold on amazon full stop. That isn’t dependent on whether you’re exclusive or not. The royalty is 50% afaik (I only sell my physical copies on mattfalcon.com)

There a so many reasons why I sell direct, but the Zon just changing your royalty fee to 35% instead of 70% because it's not on the 70% list for some reason, is definitely one of them...

@KemalOnor My advice is to make your book the best it can be, not for your readers' sake, but for your own. Remember that books sell because of money spent on promotion, not because they are necessarily any good.

@brclothwrites I was a French teacher for 30 years and my advice is not to stress over verb tenses. In informal spoken communication, use infinitives.
I to go doctor yesterday or I to eat in restaurant tomorrow are perfectly comprehensible.
Don't let the perfect be the enemy of good enough!
