i think there’s so much strength in lestat’s ability to not let these incidents change the way he defines himself. he has to give a few extra caveats sure, but he doesn’t ever allow himself to be labelled as the things that happened to him he is the vampire lestat first

Every other week I get reminded how disappointed I was with the Barbie movie. We coulda had a funny gag about a Christmas themed section of barbie land. Or had characters casually walking around in huge ballgowns. But no everyone’s just dressed like instagram influencers
