We are wrapping up our Math clubhouses! We started off with the question “will my shoe fit inside my clubhouse?” We used paper clips to measure both our total shoe and clubhouse length. Such creative houses! Thanks to @Dahlly_Lama for getting us going!

We started our read aloud, The Wild Robot! Ss used loose parts to retell Ch.1 "These wooden parts are the crates, and the popsicle sticks are the cargo ship. The huge waves are the gems. These clear gems are the robot body parts!"@glendale_macdon @glendalehampton

We are diving into exploring hot and cold temperatures! Students practiced team work and respect for each other by sorting items in groups. “Why do you think this item is on the cold side?” #sciencefun @glendale_gibson @glendale_macdon

In grade 1/2, we wrapped up Phys-Ed with a story. Students made connections to the text by sharing stories of how they showed resilience and ‘tried again’ during our time together in the gym. @glendalehampton @glendale_gibson @glendale_macdon

This week we have been practicing for our literacy centres! Today we looked at word webs focusing on ‘I do, we do’ and next week hopefully trying the ‘you do’ #literacypractice #gradeonetwo

This morning we focused on exploring colour value/ tint! A few spills but we had a great time:) #art
