@glendi173 @RoyDT @CalvinDT @WarnieDT I just don’t see as much upside in Newman, compared to McCluggage at a a similar price. Newman is at best a 90-95 avg guy which doesn’t push top-6. Still not a bad pick. McCluggage can go 100-105 avg at full strength which pushes top-8. Lions also are a greater fantasy side.

I’ll be launching into him this week (already got Whit) with Bombers matchup and the fact Zorko will be managed upon return which should see a reasonable uptick in McCluggage TOG (hopefully around 75%).

I think I have narrowed this down to Whitfield vs Ashcroft now. Backs: Dale kick ins are unsustainable (right?). Daicos is fine, but GWS have a better immediate run for Kickers (+ best bye which I haven’t invested in yet) Mids: Clugg needs to play more tog first. Bont and Finn still pickable next week. Theres a world where Finn isn’t a pick tbh. Fwds: Pickett too expensive and bad matchup this week. Trac and JHF are okay to buy, I like Trac more next week if I am to buy in this line. Ginni, MacDonald, Bailey risky but can work out. #AFLFantasy

Dunkley a guy I’m watching today. This is a game I’m expecting him to do well in. If he doesn’t then I’d be concerned he’s a “value trap”. Had two offseason surgeries but he’s stated he didn’t miss any ps training. He does go on stretches with poor scores but then can follow them up with stretches of 110+. ?less stoppages ?preseason ?form
