I tried to do my final @BTO winter bird survey this morning but I couldn’t even get to the starting point.

@RICHIEGANNON @hertsessexbirds I bought a season ticket as I was spending so much on parking at Holland Haven and the Naze 🤗 you can park for free on the road if you're on your uppers🤑

Wood Sand showed well at Abberton this morning.

A good day for butterflies today but maybe not so good for dragonflies!

Finally a Norfolk Hawker posed for a photo at Abberton today.

Purple Emperor showed well at Abberton today, unlike the Norfolk Hawker which refused to pose for photos.

Purple day on the old road at Abberton EWT yesterday with 4+ Emperors and lots of Hairstreaks.
