Paris Marathon 2028 ✅ What a place to DO your thing! Paris you let none of the 60k participants down! An incredible experience, run a marathon where you can tick off all the famous landmarks… Feeling tired after a ‘stupid’ week with little sleep, I’m glad the hard miles of #marathontraining paid off. Ran well, albeit not comfortable for 22 miles. Heavy legs from 7, broke when I stopped for fuel 🙏 Sub 4:30 was on but I still extremely pleased with 4:38. I predicted it pre-race, I know a thing or two about this running business you know. Still work to do but this one was quicker than my last! I ran well & determined and disciplined! I kept to my pacing goals in the main, until gassing out. No excuses, it’s where I’m at. Anyone ever disappointed completing one of these is a fool. They’re ridiculously tough! My 8th road marathon done, with no immediate plans for the next! #justafatladfromBestwood loving his hobby! Back to the regimes, after a few days here! Note to self, do the next one out of the football season - of course there will be another 😜 Today, I ran for myself, it felt bloody awesome! Nothing or no one else to consider. Huge thanks to my incredible wife who made it seamless. Thank you so much to all who have kindly helped me raise over £1000 for @prostatecanceruk 🙏 Back in an Irish Bar, drinking guilt free!
