@glgensemer I do the same! In a drawer under my jar I have my box of 300 pre sharpened pencils from Amazon. Today, the box is empty. I’d imagine you go through way more with math, as we there are some days we work online for English.

As of today, January 21, 2022, I have officially given out 300 pencils to my sixth graders. 300 pencils lost to the abyss forever. I love my kids, but I sincerely wonder where all these pencils go. #Englishteacherwoes #middleschool

@nicolewolverton I know...he started the minute he took the oath of office. At least one school district has already filed lawsuit over rescinding mask mandates in schools.
