Why would the pro-Becerra forces take the PR hit for accepting Chevron & Meta money? Because the internal polls circulating in Sacramento show this race is a jump-ball, and business interests are terrified of a Steyer win. They are desperate.

If you’re a #CA voter I encourage you to watch this video by @Kdoespolitics Not only did he cross the line into illegality, but Tom Steyer, whether he did this intentionally or more importantly if he did it unintentionally, has shown he is neither smart enough, organized enough or capable of running our state and all of its complexities. If he did know — than it confirms he’s just another dirty billionaire. He has ran enough campaigns to know better, yet he still failed. How do we know he knows better, because he filed a claim against an influencer supporting Becerra for apparently doing the same, despite the fact that the influencer did disclose. So there you have it. Steyer should drop out of this race if he can’t even adhere to campaign finance laws. #BecerraForCAGovernor

Chevron just revealed another $530,000 in support of Becerra. This may be the most open and obvious purchase of a California Governor candidate in the modern history of the state. Millions of dollars of corporate money to elect the candidate most likely to work for them, not us.

Voter: I asked @TomSteyer the exact same question I'd asked @XavierBecerra two weeks ago. I said to both of them, "You've come to the fastest-warming county in the lower 48, a place that's been hit by wildfires—do you have a climate plan?" For asking that question, I was thrown out of Xavier Becerra's town hall. I was escorted out, and my friends who were with me were roughed up. Here, Tom not only appreciated the question, he gave a substantive, well-thought-out answer. It was night and day. So I'm excited, and I'm going to be voting for Tom in June.
