Despite a frigid -19°C, EPS members and local kids hit the ice for the 15th annual McCauley Cup, a true Edmonton community tradition.
Dozens of players and fans braved the cold, with special appearances by Oilers legends Al Hamilton and Georges Laraque.
“I have major respect for the police officers. The job they do, because that's what my brother does. So, my brother's been doing it for over 25 years. So, I understand all the struggle and the work that comes with the job,” said Laraque.
Huge thanks to the Edmonton Police Foundation, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this year’s event a success.

I would like to thank Janis Irwin who nominated me for the King Charles Jubilee medal. A few weeks ago there was a formal presentation at the legislative and I was able to celebrate this honour with my family. I am blessed to be able to help make my community a better place.
Thank you to everyone who came out to McCauley and helped celebrate family day Big thank you to the Mannarino/Pagnotta family for the awesome meal Great way to remember long-time McCauley resident Albert Pagnotta who believed in giving back @edmonton_anne@EFCL#community#kids
