It is strange and revealing to see "pro-Palestine activists" celebrating Kamala Harris' loss as some victory for Gaza, literally right as Ben Gvir, Smotrich, Netanyahu, settlers, the far right, anti-Palestinians & Islamophobes are ecstatically joyous by what Trump's election means for the Gaza war, the end of aspirations for Palestinian statehood, and the beginning of repression of "pro-Palestine" activism in the US. Maybe these "activists" aren't pro-Palestine after all, given that their “activism” helped elect the very guy who wants Netanyahu to “finish the job” and promised the Israeli Prime Minister whatever he needs to win the war in Gaza. Worse, perhaps they're too incompetent and unsophisticated to understand the implications and consequences of their speech and actions.

We have to accept that millions of Americans are misogynistic, climate change denying, racist fucking lunatics who don't give a single fuck about anything apart from the price of gas in their tanks. Having done that we need to stop caring about America and build a better Europe.

The American people have voted. I am in regular contact with top security officials from both parties. Europe urgently needs to take more responsibility for its security. The winds of history are blowing ever more strongly. Poland's leadership will rise to the occasion.

One can't be outraged by the massive death & destruction in the Gaza Strip only to cast a "protest" vote for someone like Jill Stein, who has regularly supported despots and killers of other Arab and Muslim peoples such as Syria's al-Assad and Russia's Putin. Furthermore, this "candidate" has failed in virtually every political endeavor she's ever touched, turning her into a charlatan opportunist who jumps from one issue to another in desperate pursuit of relevance. Diverting votes away in key states such as Michigan is not only reckless and unhelpful; if Harris wins the state anyway, this will dismiss the significance of Arab & Muslim votes and weaken their political leverage since these communities will be seen as inconsequential for winning elections.
