The war in #Ukraine has deeply affected me. My mind and heart are over there. I apologize to my followers - most of my tweets these days are about #Ukraine. I might be posting on other topics via LI, but not as frequently. I would not get offended if you choose to unfollow me.

No one could have imagined that decades after Chornobyl – after everything countries have done to ensure radiation safety and protect lives – someone would want to turn Chornobyl, the facilities that remain here, and the Exclusion Zone itself into a territory of war. And the worst thing is that when the Russians came to Chornobyl, it became clear that they had absolutely no understanding of where they had come and what this place was. This is important to understand about today’s Russia – about this state, about what remains of their culture, and about how they treat people, how they treat life as a whole. The Russians tried to advance on Kyiv through this territory and seize the capital. They dug military positions here in restricted forests, drove military equipment across this land, deployed artillery here and fired from this area, destroyed equipment, and abused our people who work at the Chornobyl plant and associated facilities. Some of our Ukrainian servicemembers, including those from the National Guard of Ukraine who were guarding the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, are still, unfortunately, in captivity in Russia. From an address marking the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster (1/3)

‼️ ZELENSKYY: For the first time in the war, an enemy position was captured entirely by ground robotic systems and drones - without any infantry. A robot entered the most dangerous zones instead of a soldier and took the positions. «The future is here, on the battlefield, and Ukraine is creating it. These are our ground robotic systems. For the first time in this war's history, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned GRS platforms and drones. The occupiers surrendered, and this operation was completed without infantry involvement and without losses on our side. Ratel, Termite, Ardal, Lynx, Zmiy, Protector, Volya and other GRS completed over 22 000 missions at the front in just 3 months. In other words, over 22 000 times lives were saved. A robot went into the most dangerous zones instead of a soldier» - Zelenskyy’s address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex. April 13th, 2026.

Congratulations to @magyarpeterMP and the TISZA party on their resounding victory. It is important when constructive approach prevails. Ukraine has always sought good-neighbourly relations with everyone in Europe and we are ready to advance our cooperation with Hungary. Europe and every European nation must get stronger, and millions of Europeans seek cooperation and stability. We are ready for meetings and joint constructive work for the benefit of both nations, as well as peace, security, and stability in Europe.

STATE OF THE PRODUCT JOB MARKET IN EARLY 2026 In spite of the headlines about layoffs and AI taking jobs, we’re actually seeing a lot of promising signs in tech hiring, and some interesting new trends: 1. PM openings are at the highest levels we’ve seen in over three years 2. AI hasn’t slowed the demand for software engineers (at least not yet) 3. AI roles in general are absolutely exploding 4. Design roles have plateaued 5. The Bay Area is increasing in importance 6. Remote work opportunities continue to decline 7. Despite ongoing layoffs, the overall number of tech jobs continues to grow More in 🧵

Filmmaker David Lynch's Diagram for Transcendental Consciousness is one of the greatest, easiest to understand explanations for how our reality is made of MIND first, MATTER second. I promise this is genuinely worth your time. It's fantastic.

Don’t look away. The richest nations, the strongest military alliance in the history of the world are right next door and choose every day not to stop this. All while Ukrainian soldiers defend their cozy complacency.

Stop standing with Ukraine and start fighting with Ukraine! Cut off Russia's ability to fund its war machine and give Ukraine the weapons it needs to defend itself. Both of these things could be done today and save countless innocent lives. Instead, more talk.
Mark Rutte@SecGenNATO

During my visit to Kyiv today I saw a civilian heating plant targeted by Russian missiles. No military value whatsoever - attacks meant only to make people suffer. But Ukraine stands strong. And NATO stands with you.

I am a Ukrainian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. I have a question.  Why has Trump's year of negotiations been the deadliest for civilians in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion? The number of deaths and injuries has increased by 31 percent compared to the previous year. Why did Putin not allow himself such brutal strikes on civilian infrastructure under Biden, whom Trump calls “weak,” but totally destroys peaceful cities and disregards the “strong Trump”? GOP Sen. Thom Tillis just torched Stephen Miller: “You know what makes me cranky? Stupid. You don’t speak on behalf of this U.S. senator or Congress. You can say it may be the position of the president that Greenland should be part of the U.S., but it is NOT the position of this government. We are a co-equal branch.” That’s a Republican senator drawing a hard constitutional line and calling out the White House for pretending Congress doesn’t exist.

🚨 BREAKING: UK PM Keir Starmer just agreed to redirect the proceeds from the sale of Chelsea Football Club to Ukraine. Chelsea was seized from a Russian oligarch. Now that money is going to fund Ukraine’s defense. That’s what accountability looks like.
