My microbusiness management app is live, guys, emprendy.vercel.app will allow you to manage clients, sales, inventory, products and stock, providers, providers' orders, and their statuses all in one app! It's free while on beta, so it can be fully checked out.

I'll participate in the XPRIZE + Google hackathon about building and launching an app. Hardest will be to actually get clients in 3 months since thats something I've never done before. They check revenue too.

How do you guys actually verify the payment flow works correctly? I at first did it with the polar.sh test link using a different account but I've switched to the actual flow right now and im not sure if my manage subscription button is sending to the correct flow

@athcanft Im curious and this may be an stupid question but what's the actual net earning? Because if I assume you still run on $300 daily that would make it around 9k month which would put you exactly in the same point you where with 2k vs 3k with organic and influencers

when i first started apps i tried organic + paid influencers i spent ~$3,000 and made ~$2,000 back overall lost about $1,500 after apples tax then i tried tiktok ads, started with a $50/day budget as i didnt have much money and it was instantly profitable so i raised $20k from friends and family, and jumped to $200-300/day spend that’s how im at >$10k mrr now you have to try different distribution methods to find the right one for your app don’t be afraid of paid ads!

Hey folks , so i am taking a major step , and i am changing the code base itself , breaking it into as many modules and microservices , to make it better production ready and to finally get done with the fixing rat race , where i fix 1 thing it breaks other that breaks first again all cz everything is messed , this might take a bit longer but it will significantly improve the code quality , hygiene, working conditions and most importantly i dont need to to build the whole thing and waste almost an hour every single time , im learning new concepts and applying them so if there are any other changes that will be beneficial pls do let me know , Thanks a lot for the amazing support! I’m open sourcing JustHireMe 🚀 A local-first Agentic AI desktop app I’ve been building to make job searching more intelligent, transparent, and user-controlled. GitHub: github.com/vasu-devs/just… The current job search process is broken. Candidates spend hours scrolling through: stale job posts irrelevant roles spammy listings senior-only positions repeated listings across platforms jobs with almost no useful context And most AI job tools either scrape too broadly, rank opportunities like a black box, or try to automate applications without giving the user enough control. I wanted to build something different. JustHireMe is designed as a personal job intelligence workbench. Instead of blindly applying everywhere, it helps users discover better opportunities, evaluate them against their real profile, and generate tailored application materials while keeping sensitive career data local. What it can do: Ingest resume/profile data Build a local professional profile graph Discover job leads from multiple sources Filter out low-quality or irrelevant postings Score roles based on explainable fit Match jobs using graph + vector search Generate tailored resumes Generate cover letters Draft cold emails Draft LinkedIn outreach messages Track leads in a local CRM-style pipeline Keep the user in control through a human-in-the-loop workflow The main principle behind the project is: More signal. More explanation. More local control. Less blind automation. The tech stack: Tauri for the desktop shell React + TypeScript for the frontend Python + FastAPI for the backend sidecar SQLite for local lead tracking KuzuDB for graph-based profile modeling LanceDB for vector search and semantic matching Playwright for experimental browser automation One of the biggest goals is privacy. Your resume, career history, generated documents, job leads, application notes, and API keys should not have to live on someone else’s server by default. JustHireMe is built around a local-first architecture so users can keep ownership of their data while still benefiting from modern AI workflows. Another major goal is explainability. I don’t want an AI system that just says: “This job is a good match.” I want it to explain: which skills matched which projects support the application what gaps exist why a role was filtered out why a role deserves attention what to highlight in the resume or cover letter That matters because job search is not just a productivity problem. It is personal. It affects confidence. It affects opportunity. It affects people’s careers. The project is currently in alpha, but the foundation is in place. I’m looking for contributors interested in: Agentic AI AI agents workflow automation job source adapters web scraping ranking algorithms GraphRAG vector databases semantic search resume parsing document generation local-first software privacy-first AI UI/UX testing and documentation If you’re a developer, designer, AI engineer, student, or someone who has felt the pain of modern job searching, I’d love your feedback, ideas, issues, PRs, or even just a star ⭐ Repo: github.com/vasu-devs/just… Let’s build a better, more transparent job search system together. #OpenSource #AgenticAI #AIAgents #RAG #GraphRAG #Python #FastAPI #ReactJS #TypeScript #Tauri #VectorDatabases #JobSearch #CareerTech #Automation #PrivacyFirst

True, although I do believe its easier for an actual corporate job than for those platforms. The probably dont want a lot of applications being AI, since for corporate there will he many rounds to prove the CV is actually legit, while for freelance work there are just too many ways to get away with lying, a person wanting to hire someone for a small job probably wont go around asking ex employers if the experience is actually legit or not

@Vasu_Devs @HanifCarroll Yep I tried a similar thing and Platforms like Upwork for example are too protected against it. And in some way the freelance platforms are already a filter on its own so its easier yo just filter manually at this point

Like, what do you mean Claude did this for me? Man, i love it. I can literally study reading something I actually love and will stick to it because of it, contrary to reading children's book stories, which are either too easy or too hard because why the fuck do they literally translate "twinkle twinkle" and expect me to feel like i'm learning a new language when it's just... the same word.

This might be a controversial statement, but I really love AI for learning languages. I basically can ask it to create a whole story in my target language about whatever pairing I want with the full grammar points of A2 level, for example, and it will do it. So far, improving my reading skills in JP N4 level and Mandarin HSK4. And soon, russian A1. It's basically how my English got better when I was in my teen years with no formal education past high school English.

I had the honor of meeting my favorite solopreneur @jackfriks. We spent 3 days at Stripe Sessions, explored SF, and went to the gym. He’s exactly how you’d expect: kind, smart, and simple. What struck me most is how mature Jack is. He’s only 26, runs a $30K MRR business, and is engaged to his warm, kind fiancée (at 26, I was lost and drunk in a club in Korea). We all know Jack for his SaaS and UGC content, but he told me he dropped out of college to build a YouTube channel. That’s how he made his first few thousand dollars. Then at 23, he started building startups in public, and in less than 3 years: - taught himself to code - built 10+ apps - got millions of views - built assets that could retire him Jack found a balance between work and life, and as someone who figured things out late, it’s inspiring to see someone this young with that level of clarity. To quote him: just keep going :)

@alexcooldev Curious when you build and launch a new app do you create a new social media profiles for each and start creating content and marketing them? Do you use ads? Basically how do you let people know about the app and start getting your first customers?
