Only happened one other time in NHL history... when the Canucks had two players named Greg Adams in the 90s. Not sure if that factors in to your research but there ya go!

@DhaliwalSports Late 90s I took journalism at Langara. Had to invite reporter to speak to class. Cold-called Don and he agreed on the spot. Did great presentation, couldn’t have been nicer. Invited partner and I to watch Sports Page on set. Not many people would do that for random college kid.

Don Taylor is off to the BC Sports Hall of Fame. Passionate, smart, talented, creative. Everyday I learn from him, the privilege is mine. I get to work with a hall of famer. Not every city has a Don Taylor – we do – and we are lucky.

Don’t tweet much anymore, but I want to share a story about me and my beloved Seattle Mariners. I have a running gag with my cousin that I am a curse on them, and obviously their tortured history extends well beyond me, but I’m also not helping. Here’s the evidence:

Also! The last two games I saw in person last year were the 1-0 18 inning playoff loss and a walk off home run we missed by leaving early. This is all the God’s honest truth. So if you have a team you hate, I’m available for hire as a professional Cooler.

Also! I saw Julio Rodríguez lose in the semis of the HR Derby and the AL lose the all star game.

@luke_arkins Your note about Wong’s arm strength- how important is that at second base? Where does he rate among 2B and not fielders overall? Isn’t the ability to get to balls more important than arm strength at that position? How does he rank there?

@NHLtoSeattle @AndyEide Awful news. I got to know Andy when I worked for the Winterhawks and always enjoyed chatting with him. Had such a passion for the game and his work. My condolences to his family, friends and everyone impacted by his passing.

Our dear friend @AndyEide has passed away. There are no words to explain what Andy’s presence and work has meant to the great Seattle hockey community. He was a dear friend of mine and his support to bring the NHL to Seattle will never be forgotten. 💔RIP Andy.
