@lecternleader Heads in the right place but property tax needs to go because it’s wrong to tax people on ownership of something that’s already been taxed to the point where it can be taken from you.

Florida became a magnet for new residents over the past few years. Overdeveloping and an open door policy has consequences in our elections. We saw this yesterday. I'm going to say something very controversial that will get push back. If we vote to end property taxes, the magnet will grow in intensity and draw millions more to my state. We should really be considering adding a legacy clause to ending property taxes that only extends to Residents who have been here for 20 years and with Florida being their primary residence. We obviously need relief, but we need to consider the consequences and talk about real long-term solutions, not just quick fixes.

He get full health benefits, a health spending account, pension and 401k matching, vacation fund, truck, fuel, laptop, phone, tablet and his boss just slipped him 10 $100 bills as a “thanks for not being a retard” present. He is now making $126 an hour in Illinois, the second worse state in the U.S. which is mogging every province in Canada. He called me on his vacation at Myrtle Beach, wondering why the fuck I haven’t left Canada yet. If Alberta doesn’t gain independence it’s hard to think of any reason to stay.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a coaching situation here where it was more universally agreed that it just wasn’t working. The SEC is a different animal than it was 15 years ago but don’t let anyone convince you this won’t be a coveted job. Tradition, solid local recruiting footprint, a fan base that will absolutely be a difference-maker if you give them the slightest bit of hope. Unfortunately that hope had been drained and priority No. 1 for the next coach will be to re-instill it. Just as important as all that is that this admin has proved they’re willing to spend. No one can say PM didn’t have resources. That should go a long way with trying to attract the next coach.
