Stock drops b/c of uncertainty re future cash generation. It’s either cheap or expensive, but we all don’t know & so we see this result in the stock price. Discussions re buybacks & dividends are distractions. Question is will the business grow profitably and if yes by how much.

If a „deviation“ of the capital allocation framework is announced just like that what will any future framework be worth? Anyway, it doesn’t really matter. It’s not dividends or buybacks but only - and only - future cash generations that’s relevant for future total return. $EVO

$EVO is such a mysterious company. No dividend for 2025.

However, $TDG doesn't raise most of its debt for acquisitions. Over the last 20 years, TransDigm has earned $13.5B of FCF and raised $26.3B in net debt, against $17B spent for acquisitions. Almost 90% of the raised debt went to $23B of special dividends.

$TDG uses leverage to acquire component manufacturers and maximizes their long-term recurring profits

@OwnerViewAI $MSFT is largely a bet on company culture for me. Their business model changes every decade or so in response to trends but they seem to maintain the "killer" organizational instinct to focus on ever newer ways of profiting from customer lock-in.
